Dana Merrill

Dana has had the privilege of
being  represented by the Bison Legacy Gallery in Cody, Wyoming, the
  Martin-Harris Gallery in
Jackson, Wyoming and the
  Sagebrush Gallery in
Sun Valley, Idaho.  Dana is also proud to have exhibited his work at the Western Design Conference in Cody, Wyoming since 1996.

Born in Idaho, Dana traveled the country pursuing his arts education. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Oregon. Returning to Idaho in 1993, Dana started designing and building furniture full time.

His designs come from his intrigue of western ingenuity and his exploration into the myth and romance of the American West. The idea of reusing what you have at hand has often been a necessity in the west and this idea is reflected in Dana’s work. However, one may also notice a contemporary feel to many of his designs. This "carry over" has enabled Dana to place his work in some of the finest homes in the country.

Dana draws inspiration from the clean air and wild rivers of Cntral Idaho.
